Narita Airport Post Box and Post Office

Narita Airport Post Box and Post Office

Previously, in my other blog post I showed the locations of the post box at the Haneda Airport. For this blog post, I will be explaining where the post office and post boxes are located at Narita Airport Terminal1, 2 and 3. So if you have any last minute letters, post cards or packages that you want to send off then you’ll know exactly where to go to at the airport. Remember though that there is no post office or post box located past the departure gate so make sure that it is all sent out before you go in through the departure gate.

Terminal 1

At Narita Terminal 1, there is a post office and post box located on the 4th floor departure lobby. In the airport shopping mall on the 4th floor, you’ll find a post office located right by a Starbucks. The post office is open from 8:30 to 20:00 every single day.

In the picture above, you will see a big sign that says South Departures. Right underneath it, you will see that there is a red post box. This is the post box that is located by the South Wing departure gate.

The South Wing post box is located right under the sign that says Customs, ATA Carnet.

The North Wing post box is located right by the departure gate as well. And in the picture you will see that it is located right beside the sign with the information about the priority lane.

If you need to quickly just drop something in the post or depart during the time that the post office is closed then you can go to the post box which is located right by the departure gate near the passenger security screening area.

Terminal 2

If you are departing from the Narita Airport Terminal 2 then there is also a post office which is located by the C and D check-in counters located on the North side. The post office is open from 8:30 to 20:00 every day just like the post office in Terminal 1.

Again, if you are unable to make it during the open hours or you simply want to drop something off then you can drop it off at the post box which is located at both the International departure gate on the North and South side. And just like in Terminal 1, once you go past the departure gate there is no post office or post box.

Terminal 3

If you are transferring flights or departing at Terminal 3 then you can drop off your letters, postcards and package at the post box that is located by the security checks for Domestic flights. If you take a look at the picture below, the post box is located right by food court.

It is also right by the sign pointing towards the security check point for International and Domestic flights as shown below:

Unfortunately, there is no post office at terminal 3 so if you would like to use the post office then you will have to either walk over to terminal 2 or take the free shuttle bus to terminal 2. It is about a 15 minute walk to terminal 2 from terminal 3 or it is a 5 minute shuttle bus ride.
