Top Skincare Products Japan
If you go to Japan, then you will definitely want to stalk up on some of their skin products. Skincare products can be expensive but if you go to a drugstore or even Don Q in Japan you’ll find that there are so many very affordable skincare products to choose from. And because there are so many it can be hard to know which ones are good. So I’ll be listing a few of my favourite affordable skincare products that you can find pretty much anywhere in Japan.
If you are looking for a new toner then I would recommend the Hatomugi Skin Conditioner. I know that a lot of people don’t really use toners but toners a standard step in the Asian skin care routine. In Japan, it’s believed to be an essential step to hydrate the skin by preventing moisture from evaporating after cleansing. The Hatomugi Skin Conditioner is an all time favourite of mine and is loved by a lot of people. And the great thing about this toner is that it is a pretty big size and yet a very affordable price.
Sheet masks are a huge thing in Japan and you will be able to find SO many. So when you are looking for a mask to buy it can be pretty overwhelming. My recommendation would be to get the Lululun Face Mask. These are a crowd favourite and I absolutely love these masks as well. You can get a pack of 32 for around 24 dollars which is a great deal. These really help with the elasticity of your skin and moisturizes the skin as well.
If you are looking for a makeup remover then I would recommend the Biore Perfect Oil. I know that some people prefer oils to remove makeup and others absolutely avoid it at all costs. If you are someone who uses oil to remove their makeup then you should check this one out. It really helps to remove all of your makeup even waterproof mascara with ease. The ingredients used in this remover are very gentle and is for all skin types.
My favourite face wash to use is the Nov Acne Foam face wash. The Nov line in general is a great affordable skincare line that is great for people who struggle with acne or struggle with very sensitive skin. So even if you don’t have acne if you have skin that can react to harsh products then I would recommend the Nov line. The Nov Acne Foam is about $8 and it leaves your skin feeling very clean.
Another very important step in your skincare is putting on sunscreen. Sunscreen can be a huge miss or hit and I find that a lot of sunscreen can get really sticky and leave that weird feeling on your skin. Well the Shiseido Anessa Sunscreen is a great sunscreen product and not only is it SPF 50 it gives your skin a beautiful matte finish and it helps your skin from premature skin aging!
Rohto Melano Intensive Anti Spot Essence is a magical product if you have any hyper pigmentation. It has vitamin C and E derivatives that really help to get rid of any of the darkness and redness from past pimples or acne that you’ve had. And the great thing about this product is that it is super affordable and can be found at any drugstore in Japan!
Shiseido skincare products can be pretty pricey but at any drugstore in Japan they have a Shiseido Aqua Label line moisturizer that is AMAZING. It is probably one of the most amazing moisturizers I’ve used and it is SO affordable. There is a red and gold version of the moisturizer and they are both amazing.
