Instagram Worthy Photo Spots in Tokyo: Osanbashi Pier
At the Port of Yokohama is the Osanbashi Pier which is the main international passenger piers. It was originally constructed in 1889 to 1896 making it one of the oldest pier in Yokohama. However, to meet modern demands the pier was rebuilt between 1988 and 2002. The design of the Osanbashi Pier is absolutely stunning and is also known to be one of the most popular date spots in Yokohama.
The pier is located right between Minato Mirai and Yamashita Park so you can easily access the pier on foot from either sides. However, the Nikon Odori Station is the closest train station from the Osanbashi Pier.
Take Exit 3. Once you exit the station take a left and keep walking straight. Then take the first right right where the post office is located. Keep walking straight until you reach the water. Then turn right and keep walking straight until you reach the road that goes straight towards the port terminal. On the right hand side you will see the Yokohama International Passenger Terminal.
