So when is the best time to go? Timing is everything. You want to make sure that you definitely don’t plan you trip to Disneyland/Sea on the weekend because I guarantee that it will be packed full of people. The next thing that you will want to check is whether the day you’re going is a national holiday, school holiday, spring break, winter break, summer break etc. If you are traveling during spring break, winter break or summer break in Japan then it will be hard to avoid the huge crowds. But if you are traveling when students are still in school then you’ll probably have a lot more luck being able to get on every line without having to lineup for a ridiculous amount of time.
Buying your entrance ticket:

If you go to disneyland/Sea when it is packed with people and you haven’t bought your entrance tickets yet it is guaranteed that you will be lining up for 30 minutes or even an hour at worse just to get your entrance ticket. And so right there you’ve already wasted 30-60 minutes of your day. So the best thing to do would to be to buy your entrance tickets beforehand. Buy it online or perhaps there is even a website that you can find that provides tickets for a bit cheaper.

There are all sorts of entrance tickets that you buy. You can buy a 1 day passport, a 2 day passport, a 3 day magic passport, a 4 day magic passport, a starlight passport, or an after 6 passport. Here are the different passports explained below:
-1 day passport: The 1 day passport allows you to stay at either Disneyland or DisneySea for the full day.
-2 day passport: The two day passport allows you to stay at either Disneyland or DisneySea for two full days. You have to pick one or the other theme park and cannot go to one park one day and then the other the next day.
-3 day passport: For the 3 day passport you can enjoy one park for two days and then on the third day you can go back and forth to both Disneyland and DisneySea as you wish.
-4 day passport: For the 4 day passport you can go to one of the theme parks for one day and then and on the third and fourth day you can go between the two theme parks as you wish.
-Starlight passport: The Starlight passport allows you to enter the park from 3pm. It is a bit cheaper than buying the 1 day passport.
-After 6 passport: The After 6 passport allows you to enter the park from 6pm. This is much cheaper as well and if it is on a day that isn’t busy people will find that from 6pm is more than enough time to spend at the theme park.
