Genki Mobile’s Pocket Wi-Fi is designed to be easy to use as soon as you receive it after landing in major Japanese airports such as Narita and Haneda.
When you open the package, you will find the Pocket Wi-Fi device, a carrying pouch, a charging cable, and a portable spare battery charger included with your rental.
To turn on the Pocket Wi-Fi, press and hold the power button on the side of the device until the screen lights up.
Next, open the Wi-Fi settings on your phone, tablet, or laptop and look for the Wi-Fi network name (SSID). Enter the provided Wi-Fi password to connect. Each Pocket Wi-Fi device has a sticker with the SSID and password printed on it, so you can connect quickly without additional setup. Once connected, you can start using the internet immediately after arrival in Japan.
