When should I order?
Please place your order by 3 pm, at least 3 days prior to your desired rental period. For urgent same-day orders, please place your order by 2 pm for same-day delivery. Urgent orders placed after the 2 pm deadline must be picked-up at our office during our operating hours.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, to cancel, please contact us by email. Please note that cancellations made four or more days prior to your requested rental period will be free of charge. However, for cancellations made three days or less before your requested rental period will incur a 3,000 JPY cancellation fee. (Credit card transaction fees will not be refunded and any difference in exchange rates will not be considered.)
Why is there no optional add-on insurance policy?
As traveller's insurance generally covers compensation fees, we believe an add-on insurance policy is not very beneficial to our customers. Please let us know if you would need to file a report to your insurance provider (e.g. credit card company) as we would be happy to provide any necessary documents to do so.

For express shipping orders must be placed before 2pm of the day the order is placed.

Deliveries cannot be made to airports and can only be made to locations in the 23 wards.

Delivery may take from 3-4 hours and you must be present when the delivery is made.

Is there a fair usage policy?
After exceeding 1GB/day, there will be a capping of 200kbps unlimited data (refreshes at 0:00 AM). No pay-per-use additional fees will apply.
How much usage can I get out of 1GB?

How many devices can connect simultaneously?
This depends heavily on the usage but for those wanting to use a lot of internet we recommend 1 to 2 users for each portable Wi-Fi.
How long does the battery last?
This depends heavily on usage but according to our NEC manufacturer, the battery should survive up to 14 hours of internet use.
How do I check my data usage?
You can download the free smartphone app Aterm Mobile Tool to check your data usage. A quick instruction manual for using the app can be found with your order upon pickup.
Can I top-up my data usage?
Unfortunately, we do not provide top-up options with this plan.

Return

Return Shipping Service

A return package will be enclosed in the box. You can return your items using this return package via any post box or post office anywhere in Japan!
The return package comes with a tracking number for your reference.

Lawson convenience stores also accept post mail.

*Note: There are post boxes available on the departure lobby of most airports. However, there are no post boxes or post offices after the airport security checkpoint.
